3 cups parboiled rice
1 cup store-bought salsa
5 1/2 cups water
Salt and pepper (if desired)

Melt butter in a large saucepan.
Add the rice and saute for about one minute.
Stir in the salsa, then add the water. Stir until the salsa is evenly dispersed.
Simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, adding water if necessary.
Once rice is done, cover and let it stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
